The countryside in all its splendour: tranquillity and nature. Such a setting of wide-open natural spaces was needed to bring out the full meaning of Axe&D's architecture, which unfolds and opens out so widely onto the panoramic view. The meranti cladding is inserted between the stained spruce glulam load-bearing beams. The oxidation of the copper covering the edge strips gives it a colour that perfectly matches the timber species used for exterior applications.
