This villa is the epitome of custom-made architecture, literally standing on a rocky coast in the Var. While for some it evokes south-east Asia, with its various pavilions and glazed tiles, for others its azobe and mahogany structure evokes equatorial Africa (azobe is a very dense, hard wood, mainly used in naval port architecture). Entrance to the villa is via an elevated pavilion, before passing between the glazed terracotta-tiled roofs. Their forest-green colour blends into the surrounding greenery. All passages lead to a wide esplanade overlooking the sea. Thanks to the magic of the huge, frameless bay windows, you can live outside even when you're indoors!
